Hello Nursery, These homework activities are things you can do at home to support your learning. They are quick activities, which should only take between 5 and 10 minutes each. Have fun with them. Hello nursery,
Today is World Book Day! Take a look at the school’s website for the Masked Reader. Can you guess who is reading? Email your answers to info@st-agnes.towerhamlets.sch.uk Watch me read my favourite story. See the video. Then have a go at the challenge below. Have a go at this challenge. You could use a stone instead of a potato. You can share what you have made with me by emailing info@st-agnes.towerhamlets.sch.uk.
Hello nursery.
It is our last week of learning from home. It has been a very difficult time for everybody, and I would like to thank you all for working so hard. It is very much appreciated. It will be so nice to see you all next week, and to all be back together again. Love from Miss Karla.
Read a story together every day. Your child can choose a favourite story, or you might have a new one you’d like to share with them. As you read, encourage your child to talk about the pictures, and what the characters are doing in the story. If it is a story they know well, they may want to join in with some of the repeated language, or tell you what is going to happen next.
Encourage your child to draw a picture every day, of whatever they would like to draw. As they draw, remind them to think about the shapes and colours of the things they are drawing. If it is a person or animal, they might need reminding to add all of the body parts, or the correct number of fingers or legs. Your child should also be encouraged to think about background details for their picture. For example, is there a road, or trees? What kind of weather is it? Ask your child to write their name on their work, using their name card to help them.
Try and get some exercise every day. Maybe you could do some dancing. Choose some favourite music, and make up your own dance moves to it. Have fun!

Hello nursery.
I hope you all had a lovely holiday, and had a bit of a rest. I bet you are ready to learn again now, and I know you are going to do a fantastic job on the activities I have set you. Love from Miss Karla.

Week beginning: Monday 1st February 2021
Hello nursery. It is February already. How the time flies! I wonder if it will be very cold this month, or sunny? Sadly, we will not see each other again this week, but I know you will be working very hard at home. Keep going, and hopefully we will see each other soon. Love from Miss Karla.

Hello nursery. It is getting very chilly out there, isn’t it? When I go for my walk in the park, I really have to wrap up warm now. What about you? Sadly, we will not see each other again this week, but I have got some new films for you, which I hope you enjoy. Remember to join in with them! See you soon, Love from Miss Karla.
