Good morning Year 2! 

I do not want to overload you with homework this week as our brains need to be in full gear during the day. 

Therefore, your homework this week will just be to read your book, use the questions I sent home to really understand it and practise any maths you know you find more difficult. 

Use these questions to prompt your maths:

• Do you know how to find the difference between lengths or amounts? 
• If you need to add or subtract two two digit numbers, what method would you use? 
• If you have groups of objects and you want to find the total, do you add or multiply? 
• e.g. I have 5 groups of 6 eggs, what is the total? 
• How many minutes are in an hour?
• How many equal parts do we find when we are finding, half, quarter, three-quarters or a third? 

Make sure you get to school ON TIME and get plenty of sleep this week!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break and managed to get outside and enjoy the lovely weather.
