School Meals
Our school meals are prepared by the Tower Hamlets Children, Schools and Families Contract Services, a non-profit organisation which operates within Tower Hamlets Council. The school promotes healthy eating. Tower Hamlets Catering runs a two-week rolling menu, which changes every six months. Click the link above to view the current menu. Lunch themes and celebrating cultures Each day, our school lunches follow a theme such as “Planet Earth Day” which is our meat free day or ‘Traditional’, which is dedicated to British classics such as the roast dinner - by far and away the children’s favourite. We also celebrate other global cultures and cuisines ranging from African to Italian and Japanese to American. Packed Lunch Children may bring their own packed lunches into school. We prefer that home-made packed lunches include a sandwich and some fruit. We ask that they do not include drinks (we provide water, as a water only school) or biscuits, cake, chocolate or sweets. Children should have a healthy packed lunch in line with our healthy school policy. |
