Year 1 Home Learning Blog - Week 1
Hello Year 1!!
How are you all? Have you had a restful Easter? Do you have any Easter Eggs left or have you eaten them all like me?
This is the beginning of your new Home Learning Blog, how exciting!
Each week I will post a timetable for you to follow at home with activities for you to do every day. Some of the activities will be on websites such as PurpleMash or WhiteRose and others will be watching a video and discussing what you have watched with an adult.
It would be great if you could write some of your ideas down to keep practising your handwriting too! This could be in a book you already have, or you could even try to make your own special home learning book. I would love to see these whenever possible too!
Thank you to all of those who have been completing the work I have already set on some of the programs, I can tell you are working so hard at home. Well done!
Thank you to all of your parents or whoever you are completing the work with, I really appreciate it.
Do email email@example.com if you have any questions or if you want to show me some of your work. Put my name in the subject and it will get to me!
Good luck and have fun.

Here are the website links you will need this week:
Here are the YouTube videos for this week:
PE with Joe changes every day, you could do an old video, or join in live with him at 9am every morning. I have been joining in every day, its load of fun and a brilliant way to start the day with a smile.
Here is a map to use for your Geography work:
Use the compass to find where West Africa is. This is where the story 'The Leopard's Drum' is set.
I know that Tigers come from Asia, do you know where any other animals come from?
