Hello Year One! Let's play a game: I spy with my little eye, something beginning with R.
HINT* you see them everywhere at the moment, children are drawing them and putting them in their windows.
You've guessed it! A rainbow!
Rainbows are everywhere at the moment. They are a symbol of hope when we are all staying home, but for a very long time, seeing a rainbow is believed to be a sign good things to come. Next week, some of you will be returning to the classroom, which is very exciting. Things may look a little different in school, so I thought I'd pop a picture up of how the classroom will look.
To get prepared to learn this week, play the game I spy with your family, using the picture of the classroom.
Have a look at the word and number of the week. How many times can you use these this week?
