All homework will be set on Google Classroom.
This is an easier platform for submitting work directly to me. This means that you will not need to send work via the school email.
Your child has been given their username and password.
They have been accessing the program in class.
This week we will be completing work on Google Classroom.
If you are unable to access the program at home or complete work on a laptop or computer please let me know by sending the school an email.
I will still be using our class blog to upload documents and celebrate homework submitted.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the children who actively complete their maths fluency daily.
I can see such a huge difference in class already.
Keep it up!
I would like to remind you about how important it is to practise your times tables on the TTRS website /app at home. I check your fluency daily every morning.
This week, we will be moving onto the 12 times tables in class.
You may notice that on the TTRS app you may have particular times tables to focus on.
Please continue with this.
We will work our way through the times tables, in class, throughout Year 4

Geography – Climate
This term, we have been learning about weather and climate. We know that Climate is a topic for discussion around the world.
I would like you to create a poster about climate.
You could identify climate change and its effects on our planet or compare climates in different countries or continents.
SOMETHING TO REMEMBER!
Weather is the state of the atmosphere, to how hot or cold, wet or dry, calm or stormy, clear or cloudy. It is the SHORT-TERM state of the atmosphere in an area.
Climate is the average weather usually taken over a 30-year time period for a particular region. Climate is not the same as weather, but rather, it is the average pattern of weather for a particular region.
All homework is due in on Friday 4th December 2020
