It's the last week of term already and what a term it has been! Well done for coming back to school so enthusiastically, you have all been brilliant. Make sure you have a well deserved break over the Easter holidays and eat lots of chocolate! But don't forget the true meaning of Easter-It reminds us that Jesus loves us. People on earth in Jesus’ time did not recognize how good Jesus was. They actually punished him, even though he was perfect. He accepted that punishment and died. Easter is the celebration of when Jesus rose from the dead to be with God. He gave his life so we could always ask God to forgive us when we fall short of his example. Have a blessed Easter with all your family. Remember we come back to school on April 19th! The Spring Equinox was on Saturday; this means it is officially Spring. The days will get longer and hopefully the weather will become warmer. Spring also is associated with ideas of rebirth, rejuvenation, renewal, resurrection and regrowth. Lets think of these words in relation to our learning and make the two weeks a time where we are focused and determined to make rapid progress. We can do this Year 6! It has been so lovely to have you all back in school and I must say you all worked really well last week. Please find this week's homework. Remember to bring your Accelerated Reader to school every day. Homework can be submitted on Google Classroom or returned to class on Friday 19th March. Happy St Patrick's Day for Wednesday! It is so lovely to have you all back in school after lockdown. I hope you are all glad to be back to see all your friends. We will be returning to using our blog for homework starting this week. Anyone who is self isolating can find classwork on Google classroom. |
