Erin and Opal have also been keeping very busy! They both had their science caps on last week as they completed the Y2 investigation into the suitability of a range of materials for a sailing boat. They both made great predictions and concluded that plastic is the best material to make a boat from. Great job girls. Keep up the hard work!
Remember you can send pictures/links of your work to email@example.com
As mentioned last week, I will be giving out gold stars to those who have been accessing the MyON library on a regular basis. Remember I can see who is and who isn't accessing the reading material online. Please aim to read for 20+ minutes every day day.
Check out Mr Crow's marvellous myOn reading here. He might even be able to help you out if you are struggling!
This week the Year 2 MyON superstars are...
This week I have a maths challenge for you to solve... How many times does the number FIVE occur between the numbers 1-100?
NUMBER OF THE WEEK
What can you tell me about the number...
Is it odd or even? How many tens and ones? Can you use 97 in a subtraction number sentence? How would it look as an array? What is 10 more? How about 10 less?
Please do not worry if you cannot print it out, just copy them down onto a piece of paper!
