Hello again Year 2! I hope everyone is well and keeping safe. I would like to say a big thank you and well done to everyone who has been accessing and completing the tasks set on PurpleMash/Mathletics/TTRS. I can see how hard you are all working, keep it up🌟🌟🌟 Who enjoyed last weeks brain teaser? Did you manage to find all 6 words? I will leave the answers at the bottom of this week’s blog. Today I have a maths brain teaser for you all! What shape will replace the question marks? Will it be A, B, C or D? I’ll give you a little hint. Count the vertices and sides on the 2D shapes. Do you notice a pattern?  NUMBER OF THE WEEK I am also introducing number of the week to our weekly blogs! Just like we do in class, what can you tell me about the number…  Is it odd or even? How man tens and ones? Can you use 30 in an addition number sentence? What is half of this number? Can you write it as a word? You can complete this task on a blank piece of paper. Take care, Miss McKenna❤️ Hello Year 2! How are you? I miss you all and hope that everyone is keeping safe. I trust that you all had a restful Easter break. I spent mine learning new recipes, enjoying quality time with my two sisters and eating lots of chocolate. I have also regularly been checking PurpleMash, Mathletics and TimesTableRockStars and would like to say a big thank you to those pupils who have completed the tasks I have set.
