Hello Year Two! I hope you all had a restful weekend. It was wonderful to catch up with some of you over the phone last week. I am thoroughly impressed with how busy everyone has been. You all continue to make me very proud with how hard you have been working on your home learning activities. Keep up the great work⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I also know that many of you have been enjoying the weekly brain teasers🧠 ! So here is another picture... As we enter the month of May, I have a new quote of the month to share. Although we are missing the classroom very much, we must take inspiration from Percy. I am very proud of you all, please continue to persevere whilst learning at home.  As these weekly blogs develop I am still trying to understand what works best for everyone, so I have made some small changes/additions to the activities starting with spelling! Weekly spellings will now look very similar to those you usually receive for homework. The table below lists the words for you to look, say, cover, write and check. BRAIN TEASER I haven't forgotten Year 2! This week I have a bit of a riddle for you.. The answer will be revealed in next weeks blog.  Week 2 brain teaser answer:
Some of you may have realised I tricked you. There are actually two possible answers. The hexagon has 6 sides and 6 vertices. The pentagon has 5 sides and 5 vertices. The square has 4 sides and 4 vertices. Therefore, the next shape in the pattern must have one less side/vertex than the square… A TRIANGLE. Your answer could have been A or B. That is all for now.
