Welcome back Year 2!
To kick things off I'm going to start this weeks blog with a brain teaser! You've seen one similar to this before... Can you find all 6 words hidden in this picture? 👀
As always, last weeks brain teaser answer will be at the bottom of the blog.
Please do not worry if you cannot print it out, just copy them down onto a piece of paper!
NUMBER OF THE WEEK
What can you tell me about the number...
How many tens and ones? Can you halve it? Can you double it? Do you recognise 22 from any of your multiplication's? What is 5 more? How about 5 less?
Online learning is great! It allows us to continue to develop and learn new skills during our time at home. However, I would like you to give some of these non-screen activities a go during your free time 🤩
I have already had a go at making a tower from playing cards! What do you think? Could you makea tower that is taller than mine?
Home learning timetable
Below is this weeks home learning timetable. You will find all of the relevant links/resources attached
Note to parents/carers: You may notice some gaps in the way I have scheduled the maths tasks. This is because some of the tasks require additional equipment/large groups of people to complete. Please do not skip ahead or complete tasks I have not yet set. Thank you!

Who guessed correctly? It's a.... PLATE! Well done if you got it right😃
If you attempt any of the non screen activities or you would simply like to show me a piece of work you are proud of, I would LOVE to see! Ask an adult to email a picture over to the office (firstname.lastname@example.org) and leave my name in the subject!
Take care Year 2!
