How are you getting on with your maths? Still follow my lead. I will indicate where to go, what to click or download. This will usually take you to BBC Maths.

Continue Daily:
  • PE With Joe (30 Mins)
  • Reading (30 minutes)
  • Complete Times Table Rockstars (30 Mins)

English: You are off on a Journey! A Journey to the Jungle! See daily posts for help on the pages to complete.

Take a look at the end of the week's posting. I have gone a little bit wild and have given you some more Golden Time ideas!

Here is another one of my favourite affirmations and a motivational song which I think suits at this very moment. I cannot express how much I am proud of you all year 3 and how much I miss you.
  • Love yourself
  • Stay strong
  • Be good!
"move on up" year 3. Remember you are special. Keep chasing rainbows.

God Bless
Mr Crow

Activity: Making powerful predictions!
Do you know The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – the story of Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy who discover the world of Narnia through the back of a wardrobe?
★ If you have access to the Internet, type this into Google and discover Narnia with Lucy: https://cutt.ly/2yvlv0q

  1. Read this extract (it's on page 2) about professor's diary "Would you believe me if I told you that I have a wardrobe that takes me to magical places? I have been a jungle explorer for many years. I have explored the Cloud Jungle in Peru, the wild jungles of Borneo and even the Ancient Waipoua Forest in New Zealand. However, six years ago, I bought a beautiful wardrobe at a market and when I got it home, I discovered that it was not just beautiful, but magical too! Every week, on a Sunday evening, if I step into the wardrobe, I’m transported to a magical jungle that is out of this world. Come and discover these new lands with me!"
  2. Write down three predictions - what do you think Prof's diaries will be about? What will he see? What will he hear? What will he do?

Activity: John 4: 46-54 . Jesus turns water into wine.
1. Read
2. Talk about it. Jesus speaks to a Samaritan woman who is drawing water from a well. Jesus both confronts her about her sin, and comforts her with the truth of the gospel. He explains that even though He knows her sins, He still looks after her, and those like her. The woman returns to town, eventually bringing many people to meet Jesus. The disciples, meanwhile, have to be reminded of the purpose of their mission. Jesus also heals the son of a government official in a way that demonstrates the importance of trusting faith.
3. Draw a picture of what this means to you - the fact that Jesus lobes us so much, he helps people who believe in him. You can use the above summary to help you. Write your own summary.
