Homework week beginning 12/10/20

Hello Reception!
 
Here is your home learning for this week.
 
Try and read every day for about 10 minutes – this may just be looking at a few pages. Talk about what you can see and why things are happening.   Reading isn’t just about reading the words on the page, it’s all about understanding what the story is trying to tell us.
 
The numbers for the week are;
 
                             0,1,2,3,4,5

• Can you count forwards and backwards to 5? 
• Can you count up to 5 objects in different arrangements by touching each object as you count and say the numbers?
• Can you count out 5 object from a large set of objects?
• Can you match numerals and quantities correctly and reliably (0-5)

  
You have five words to look at and learn this week, these will help with your reading and writing in class.  We will be reading and writing our own sentences this week. Will you be able to read and write the sentences that starts;
