Today is World Book Day!  We can enjoy everything about books! What's your favourite book?

I have got a story to share with you. It is from one of my favourite authors. See below for the video.   

Maths:  You can even enjoy Maths through books!  Have fun listening to this story called 'Ten Monkey Jamboree.'  Make your own counting book like this one.  Which animal will you choose?  

​Have a go at the activity below.  You could use a stone instead of a potato.  I would love to see what you make. Please email a photo today to [email protected] to share with me what you have done.  

Choose from any of these activities to enjoy the rest of World Book Day.

• Make a special place to share your favourite story - Choose a comfortable place in your house, get cushions, make a den, get a torch, make some 'Do not disturb' signs then share your favourite story with someone in your family.  
• Make a bookmark - get a piece of paper or card, draw your favourite book character on it, make a hole at the top and thread some ribbon through it.  
• Go on a scavenger hunt - Can you find any books in your house that have these things in them?  See the list below
