Today, 28th February 2020, St. Agnes school was stunned with the arrival of 4 rock stars in order to launch the brand new, mathematics initiative "Times Table Rockstars."

Richie Thriller, Kristi Gnecco, Verity Strummer and Mitzi Garcia, took time out of their busy schedule to reveal all about the Times Table Rock stars initiative.  
 
Here's what the gang had to say:

"When it comes to times tables, speed AND accuracy are important – the more facts you remember, the easier it is for you to do harder calculations. Times Table Rock Stars is a fun and challenging programme designed to help students master the times tables! To be a Times Table Rock Star you need to answer any multiplication fact up to 12×12 in less than 3 seconds!"

Children across the school, are now able to take part in a wide variety of times table games and activities as well as "slay" learning their times tables using online games and musical fun. See below for instructions if needed. Rock. On!

​Last October, St Agnes took part in Let’s Count day.  Each year group took part and we made a display of all the fantastic work that was produced.  Thank you to all the children for taking part in our Let’s Count activities. 
Our work was entered into the Let’s Count competition.  We were runners up for our local area!  We won £100 worth of school equipment vouchers!  A great achievement! 
Our school councillors chose what equipment we should buy.  See what they bought below.
