Bonjour!

Did you know, 'Bonjour' is hello and good morning in French?
Here is your homework for this week.
This week I am going to be seeing how much progress you have made in Year 1 since September and I am really looking forward to it. You just keep impressing me with how well you are doing!

Year 1 homework blog - 23.11.20

23/11/2020

Hello Year 1!

I want to begin by saying thank you for working so hard in school and at home. I can tell that you are making a huge effort to read, learn the word of the week and the rest of your spellings as well as do your maths!

Give yourself a massive pat on the back!

I can see the impact the work you do at home has on your learning in school, I hope you can see it too.

Year 1 homework blog - 16.11.20

16/11/2020

Hello again Year 1!
I am very impressed with the High Frequency Words you know. Remember to keep practising these, especially if you find some of them difficult. You need to be able to read all of the High Frequency Words as quickly as possible by the end of the year.
Work on the words here first:

Once you are confident with the Reception words, try the Year 1 words from the list below:

If you can read these words, you will find reading books a lot easier 😊
